Plants that tell you how they really feel.

Frondy turns every plant in your home into a character whose mood follows the real plant. The care advice starts from your home: the AC or the heating, the window, the sun on your balcony, the pot you actually have.

Early access starts late 2026. One email when it opens for you, nothing else.

Phil the monstera zz
Phil · Monstera · Living room Happy. Soil checked on Monday. Two metres from an east window, away from the AC vent. Next check on Thursday.
Built in the hardest climate

If it works in a Dubai flat, it works in yours.

Care guides are written for mild European living rooms. We build Frondy in Dubai, where the AC runs ten months a year and balconies bake after 10 am. It starts from your home, then from the plant, so it works wherever you live.

30–40%

Indoor humidity with the AC on. Monstera and calathea want 60–80%.

15–18°C

Air from the vent. A plant in its path dries out on one side and sulks.

2–3m

From the window, light is nearly gone. "Bright indirect" means something here.

48°C

On the balcony in July. A ceramic pot in the sun cooks the roots.

How it works

Two minutes a week. Advice in millilitres.

  1. Describe your home once

Point your phone at the window and the compass sets the direction. Tell us where the AC blows and until when the balcony gets sun. Every plant inherits its spot.

    Balcony · East · Sun until 10:00
  2. Snap each plant with its pot

Frondy names the species and estimates the pot size. When it isn't sure, it shows you the alternatives instead of guessing.

  3. Feel the soil, tap the answer

Reminders ask you to check before you water. Dry, damp or wet: each tap teaches Frondy how fast your home dries out, so the next reminder lands on the right day.

    Dry → water 7 L · Damp → check tomorrow
  4. One photo round on Sunday

A two-minute walk past all your plants. Each character updates its mood and you get the week's tasks. Skip a week and nobody dies; they just fall asleep in the fog.

Your olive has probably dried out. Feel the soil 3–5 cm down. And the ivy is due a shower against spider mites.

What we promise

A character you can trust with a real plant.

An honest mood

Phil looks thirsty because the soil is dry, never to make you open the app. When Frondy isn't sure, it says so and asks you to check.

Cautious with water

Overwatering kills more houseplants than drought. Frondy asks before it tells you to pour, and never stacks up overdue counters.

Free for one plant, forever

Your first plant gets the full character, reminders and home profile at no cost. A paid plan only when you want up to ten.
